You will work closely with experienced Solicitors and Conveyancers, providing essential support to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently and to a high standard of client care.
Key Responsibilities- Providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Residential Property team
- Assisting with the management of conveyancing files from instruction through to post-completion
- Preparing and drafting legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
- Conducting property searches, ID verification checks, and issuing client care documentation
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
- Managing incoming correspondence, responding to queries, and providing regular updates to clients
- Maintaining accurate and compliant file records in line with regulatory requirements
- Previous experience in a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, or Legal Secretary role within a residential property team
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- A professional and client-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Proficient in IT systems, with experience of case management systems advantageous
