A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced conveyancing professional to take the lead in a highly regarded and multi award winning legal practice with a strong reputation for client care, people development and community presence across South Wales. Recognised for its supportive culture, investment in its people and continued growth, the firm is seeking an ambitious individual to lead and develop the residential conveyancing offering from its Caerphilly office. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative leadership team within a business that values innovation, progression and long term success.

This role would suit a confident and commercially minded conveyancer who is looking to take the next step in their career within a progressive and people focused environment. You will play a key role in driving growth, mentoring junior team members and shaping the future direction of the department alongside senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and developing a residential conveyancing caseload covering a broad range of matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new build transactions, transfer of equity, shared ownership, shared equity and remortgages.
  • Building strong relationships with local estate agents, brokers and introducers, while actively contributing to business development initiatives.
  • Leading, mentoring and supporting junior colleagues to encourage high performance and professional development.
  • Working closely with senior leadership to support strategic growth plans and continuous improvement across the conveyancing function.
  • Delivering exceptional client service while maintaining strong billing performance and managing a busy caseload independently.
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Minimum of 4 years PQE with strong residential conveyancing experience.
  • Previous experience managing or supervising a conveyancing team or department.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to networking and business development.
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
  • Committed to delivering outstanding client care and building long term relationships.
