About the Firm

I am delighted to be supporting a well-established and highly respected Bristol law firm with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional client care across the city and wider South West. Known for their friendly culture, traditional values, and modern approach to service delivery, they offer a stable environment where staff retention, professional development, and work-life balance are genuinely prioritised.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a supportive and close-knit property team at a firm with deep local roots and an excellent reputation in the market.

The Role

As a Senior Residential Conveyancer, you will manage your own varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. This is a hands-on role with the support of an experienced administrative team, allowing you to focus on technical quality and client service. You will be working on matters including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Transfers of equity
  • Re-mortgages
  • Help to Buy transactions
  • Lease extensions (desirable but not essential)

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys autonomy, values a steady and well-managed workflow, and thrives in a friendly, traditional high street setting.

What the Firm Offers

They offer a genuinely supportive culture with:

  • A collegiate, down-to-earth environment
  • A focus on quality over volume
  • Opportunities for professional growth and progression
  • Strong local reputation generating consistent, loyal client work
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Long-term career stability in a respected Bristol firm

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 3 years experience handling a full residential conveyancing caseload
  • Ability to manage matters independently with strong technical knowledge
  • Confident, personable approach to client communication
  • Desire to join a firm where relationships, service quality, and community reputation matter
  • Ideally qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CLC-qualified Fee Earner though experienced non-qualified fee earners will also be considered

Why This Role Stands Out

This conveyancing team is stable, friendly, and well organised, with no unrealistic billing expectations or high-pressure volume environment. It's a brilliant opportunity to join a trusted Bristol name and truly enjoy your work.
