A rare opportunity has arisen for a Personal Injury Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to join a highly regarded specialist team in Cardiff, acting on a strong pipeline of Employers’ Liability and Public Liability claims (up to £25k). This is the type of role many solicitors look for but rarely find – a genuinely supportive environment where you can build a long‑term career in Personal Injury, without the pressure that often comes with the sector.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team of up to 18 people, with hands-on mentorship, real development, and a culture that prioritises quality work and a healthy work‑life balance.
The role will involve:
- Running a caseload of EL/PL matters up to £25,000, with the support of an experienced team.
- Advising clients from initial instruction through to settlement.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and key documentation.
- Managing claims efficiently, ensuring excellent client care throughout.
- Working collaboratively with senior fee earners and support staff to progress files smoothly.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) with experience or a strong interest in Personal Injury.
- Have exposure to Employers’ Liability and/or Public Liability matters (training seat experience welcomed).
- Be confident handling your own files while knowing when to escalate for support.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
- Be keen to learn, develop, and progress within a specialist PI environment.
