Senior Construction Solicitor
A well-established legal team is looking to add an experienced Construction Solicitor to its growing practice.
This is an opportunity for a solicitor with a strong non-contentious construction background to join a busy team handling a varied caseload. The role offers the chance to take ownership of your own matters, work closely with experienced colleagues and have meaningful involvement with clients.
The Role
You will be involved in a varied range of construction work, with responsibility for matters from instruction through to completion.
The role is likely to include:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating construction documentation.
- Advising clients throughout the lifecycle of development and construction projects.
- Providing practical advice on contractual issues and managing construction-related risk.
- Dealing with associated documentation and third-party arrangements.
- Taking responsibility for your own workload and progressing matters efficiently.
- Liaising directly with clients and other professional advisers.
- Supporting junior members of the team
About You
We are looking for a qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE and demonstrable experience in non-contentious construction.
You should have:
- A strong grounding in construction law.
- Experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts.
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and managing your own matters.
- Good commercial judgement and attention to detail.
- Experience with commonly used construction contracts.
