TSR Legal currently have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Real Estate Finance Solicitor to join a highly regarded Commercial Property team in Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of high-value and complex real estate finance transactions, acting for lenders, borrowers, investors and developers across a variety of sectors.
You will join a team with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused legal advice to a diverse client base. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, enjoy building lasting client relationships and be keen to contribute to the continued growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied caseload of real estate finance matters from instruction through to completion.
- Advise lenders and borrowers on secured lending transactions, including acquisitions, developments and investment financing.
- Draft, negotiate and review finance and security documentation.
- Work closely with colleagues across Commercial Property, Banking, Corporate and Construction teams to deliver seamless client service.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, surveyors and other professional advisers throughout transactions.
- Support business development initiatives and help strengthen existing client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management procedures.
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in real estate finance/commercial property.
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage transactions independently.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
