About the Role A new opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a growing commercial law firm with a fully remote working model. The firm acts for a wide range of business clients and is known for providing practical, commercially focused employment advice tailored to the needs of modern organisations.
Due to continued expansion and a growing client base, the employment team is looking to recruit an additional solicitor who can support employer clients across a broad spectrum of employment matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with businesses and HR teams, advising on both day-to-day workplace issues and more complex employment matters.
The firm offers a progressive and flexible working environment where lawyers are trusted to manage their workload independently while benefiting from the support of a collaborative team. The fully remote structure allows solicitors to work efficiently while maintaining strong connections with colleagues and clients.
The role will involve:
Handling a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Advising employer clients on disciplinaries, grievances and dismissals
Supporting clients with employment contracts, policies and workplace documentation
Drafting settlement agreements and advising on employment disputes
Assisting businesses with compliance and risk management issues
Building strong long-term relationships with business clients
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a qualified Employment Solicitor (3+ PQE) with experience advising employer clients
Have strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage your own caseload
Demonstrate excellent communication xsabvtc and client relationship skills
Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice
Be comfortable working within a fully remote environment
Show initiative and enthusiasm for contributing to a growing team
