TSR Legal are currently assisting a Legal 100 law firm based in Bristol, as they look to expand their corporate team by recruiting either an Associate or Senior Associate into the head office, with a strong background in corporate matters.
About the Role:
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be part of a dynamic corporate team, advising clients on a variety of transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity deals. You will also be responsible for drafting key corporate documents, including articles of association, shareholders agreements, and share purchase agreements. In addition to handling complex transactions, you’ll actively participate in business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and technically proficient legal advice on a broad range of corporate transactions.
- Understand and manage client needs, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Draft and review legal documents with accuracy and commercial awareness.
- Develop your technical and commercial expertise through ongoing training and supervision.
- Build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
- Support the team’s business development efforts.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Solicitor with Corporate experience, 3-6 PQE.
- Strong drafting skills and the ability to offer clear, commercially viable advice to clients.
- Up-to-date knowledge of corporate law developments and government policies.
- Proficiency with IT tools such as MS Office, digital dictation, and electronic time recording.
