  • Advising clients on strategy, merits, negotiation and dispute resolution routes
  • Drafting statements of case, correspondence, settlement agreements and key litigation documents
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to generate referrals and develop new work sources
  • Playing a key part in shaping the direction of the contentious probate department and helping it grow

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE and experience in contentious probate / inheritance disputes
  • Be confident running files with minimal supervision
  • Be commercially minded and proactive in identifying opportunities for growth
  • Have strong communication skills and a sensitive approach to client care
  • Be motivated by the chance to help establish and develop a department

What You’ll Get in Return:

  • Competitive salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
  • Flexible office base across Swindon & surrounding areas
  • Hybrid working with a supportive onboarding period
  • A rare chance to help build a practice area with real autonomy and backing
