TSR Legal are currently working with a highly regarded law firm based in Worcester who pride themselves on delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services across a variety of practice areas. Our client's Agricultural team is highly respected and widely recognised for its depth of experience and understanding of the unique challenges facing rural businesses and families. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking either a Senior Associate or Director level Solicitor to join its expanding practice.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced solicitor to play a leading role in the development and delivery of bespoke estate planning services to an agricultural and rural client base. You will work closely with farmers, landowners, and high-net-worth individuals to provide tailored advice on wills, trusts, succession planning, tax mitigation, and the preservation of family wealth across generations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on estate and succession planning for agricultural clients, including wills, trusts, tax planning, and business structuring.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, professional referrers, and colleagues within the firm.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Property, Litigation, and Corporate teams to offer a fully integrated service.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the Agricultural Estate Planning service and support junior team members through mentorship and supervision.
- Attend and present at agricultural shows, seminars, and networking events to represent and build the firm’s rural brand.
- Ensure all advice is delivered in line with relevant legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with at least 7 years PQE working with agricultural clients.
- A strong background in private client work, with a particular focus on agricultural and rural estates.
- Commercially aware with excellent interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach.
- A natural leader with experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
- Strong ties to or understanding of the rural and farming community.
