We are working with an established and ambitious regional law firm which is opening a new office in Bath. As part of an exciting new phase in the firm's development, it has already made a number of strategic Partner appointments, strengthening its leadership and expertise as it continues to invest in its future.

The firm is now looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Partner or an ambitious senior Corporate Lawyer to play an important role in developing its presence in the city.

The role

You will take a leading role in developing the firm's corporate practice in Bath and the surrounding region.

The work will involve a combination of high quality corporate transactions, client relationship management, business development and strategic input.

Areas of work are likely to include:

• Mergers and acquisitions, including business sales and purchases.
• Corporate reorganisations and restructures.
• Shareholder agreements and investment arrangements.
• Management buyouts and buy ins.
• Business succession and ownership planning.

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the wider firm, creating opportunities for collaboration, cross referral and a genuinely joined up service for clients.
