Paralegal Conveyancing
Location: Newport

TSR Legal is pleased to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in Newport, which is looking to recruit a dedicated Paralegal to join its Residential Conveyancing Support Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to develop their legal career within a supportive, professional, and well-structured environment.

Role Overview

In this role, you will work closely with Fee Earners within the residential property team, providing essential legal and administrative support. The position offers valuable exposure to a broad range of conveyancing matters and would suit a motivated, organised individual who is eager to learn and progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Fee Earners with a wide range of legal tasks, including:
    • Legal research
    • Drafting and preparing legal documentation
    • Attending and assisting with client meetings
  • Managing administrative duties such as file opening, filing/e-filing, and document collation
  • Handling client communication via email, telephone, and Microsoft Teams
  • Monitoring Fee Earners matters during periods of absence to ensure continuity and effective information flow
  • Managing incoming emails and post, ensuring timely distribution of information
  • Ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations and completing required training
  • Maintaining professional development through seminars, webinars, and internal training
  • Supporting wider business initiatives, including marketing and networking events
  • Providing assistance to other Fee Earners and departments as required

Key Skills & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Strong IT proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a conveyancing support role
