A leading regional law firm has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and forward thinking Solicitor to join its highly regarded Human Rights and Public Law team, based in the Cardiff office.
This is a senior appointment and would suit a Solicitor with strong public law experience who is looking to play a key role within a well established and respected practice. The successful candidate will be joining a team with an excellent reputation across Wales and beyond and a supportive and collaborative working culture.
The firm is long established with a rich heritage and an outstanding track record. It is known for delivering high quality legal services with a personal and client focused approach and for investing in the development of its people.
The role will involve the conduct of complex public law matters including Judicial Review proceedings in the High Court, public inquiries, inquests and cases within the First tier Tribunal, particularly in the area of Special Educational Needs and Disability. The position also offers the opportunity to supervise junior colleagues, contribute to business development and play a role in the ongoing growth of the department.
Applicants should have solid experience in public law, human rights, education law, public inquiries or inquests. This role is aimed at a senior level Solicitor, however strong candidates with the appropriate experience and ambition will be considered.
