About the firm
TSR Legal are working with well-established law firm with a reputation for providing high-quality, client-focused legal services across South Wales. Their Family Law department is led by a highly respected Partner, and due to growth are seeking a skilled Legal Secretary / EA to provide direct support to the Head of Department.
The Role
As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative assistance to ensure the efficient running of the Family Law practice. Your role will involve:
- Audio and copy typing of legal correspondence, documents, and court forms
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and organising meetings/court dates
- Liaising with clients, counsel, and external organisations in a professional manner
- Preparing and filing documents with courts and relevant bodies
- Handling confidential information with discretion
- Assisting with file management, billing, and general administrative support
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in Family Law (other legal backgrounds considered)
- Strong typing and IT skills, with experience in case management systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure
- A commitment to delivering high standards of client care
