This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic Crime Duty Solicitor to work with a small team in Swansea. Managing a busy and challenging caseload, the successful Crime Duty Solicitor / Associate will attend on clients at the Police Stations, Magistrates and Crown Courts throughout the locality and prepare cases for trial accordingly. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to make a long term appointment.
The Candidate must be a qualified Solicitor with Crime Duty accreditation / Higher rights, must have solid experience in criminal matters, must have strong advocacy skills, outstanding communication and client care skills; work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines; offer support / guidance to junior staff members, and be able to manage a demanding caseload, with minimal supervision.
