TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a respected and expanding law firm seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join its established Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically capable conveyancer to handle a broad range of high-quality residential property matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service while managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including new builds, shared ownership, and equity release matters.
Key Responsibilities- Managing all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Undertaking complex residential conveyancing work, including the setup of leasehold developments
- Ensuring thorough due diligence across all stages of property transactions
- Demonstrating strong and up-to-date knowledge of residential property law, including:
- Leasehold and Freehold Transactions
- Registered and Unregistered Properties
- Sales and Purchases
- Remortgages
- New Build Matters
- Right to Buy and Help to Buy Schemes
- Shared Ownership
- Lease Extensions
- Deeds of Variation
- Other specialist residential property schemes
- Conducting legal research where necessary to provide accurate and practical advice
- Delivering exceptional levels of client care and maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved in transactions
- Achieving individual billing and performance targets
- Managing a busy and varied caseload effectively while adapting to changing priorities
- Ensuring files are maintained to a high standard and matters progress efficiently
- Building strong internal relationships and supporting colleagues across the wider department
- Contributing positively to team projects and wider business objectives
- Supporting the continued growth of the team through excellent client service and professional reputation
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive
- Strong experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
