TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established law firm seeking to appoint an experienced Property Legal Assistant to support its busy Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with previous property law experience to join a supportive and professional environment where client care, teamwork, and career development are genuinely valued.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fee earners and the wider department with the efficient progression of residential property matters, ensuring clients receive a high standard of service throughout the transaction process.
The Role
- Working closely with fee earners and the management team, responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day management and progression of residential property files
- Handling client enquiries both face to face and via telephone/email in a professional and efficient manner
- Supporting fee earners with legal procedures and transactional work as directed
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
- Assisting with file opening procedures and maintaining accurate records on the case management system
- Undertaking Land Registry searches and other property-related searches
- Managing file administration including scanning, filing, archiving, photocopying, and document preparation
- Supporting the billing process and assisting with the collection of outstanding balances
- Ensuring compliance with firm procedures, legal requirements, and service standards
- Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, introducers, and colleagues
About You
Applications are welcomed from candidates with previous experience within a legal support or legal assistant role, ideally within residential or commercial property. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience working within a legal office environment
- Practical knowledge of property transactional work

- Excellent communication and client care abilities
