TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a leading and highly regarded law firm in Frome that is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and organised Legal Secretary seeking to join a respected firm known for delivering high-quality legal services and maintaining an excellent reputation within the local market.
The successful candidate will provide efficient secretarial and administrative support while delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities- Audio and copy typing of legal correspondence and documentation
- Diary management, arranging meetings, and coordinating appointments
- Preparing legal documents, forms, and client care correspondence
- Handling telephone calls, emails, and client enquiries professionally
- Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in line with compliance procedures
- Supporting fee earners with file progression and administration
- Liaising with clients, third parties, and external organisations
- Maintaining accurate records using the firms case management system
- Assisting with billing and document management where required
- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within a law firm is essential
- Strong audio typing and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively
- Professional, proactive, and team-focused approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Experience within conveyancing, private client, family, or litigation would be advantageous
