TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and growing law firm seeking a dependable, proactive, and organised individual to join its Real Estate Finance team as a Post Completion Legal Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced and collaborative team that advises both lenders and borrowers on refinancing and property acquisition matters. The team is known for its supportive culture, high-quality work, and modern approach to legal services.
Based in either the Cheltenham or Worcester office, you will provide vital post-completion support to a number of fee earners, helping to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing applications for registration at Companies House
- Preparing SDLT/LTT returns
- Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
- Liaising with fee earners regarding Land Registry requisitions and related queries
- Compiling and organising both hard copy and electronic documentation
- Providing lender clients with updates on post-completion formalities and responding to queries
- Maintaining post-completion spreadsheets and updating fee earners where appropriate
- Acting as a key point of contact for administrative and business support requirements relating to post-completion matters
- Anticipating the needs of the wider team and providing proactive support where required
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- The ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience working within a client-facing environment
- Previous experience within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous
- A proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented approach
- Prior administrative experience is desirable
- A legal qualification is not essential
