TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a leading Residential Property team in Thornbury, currently looking to welcome a talented Residential Conveyancer, Solicitor, CILEx, or Licensed Conveyancer to the team. The Role

You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • Transfers of equity

You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the transaction, guiding them from instruction through to completion.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and reviewing contract packs
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Conducting property searches
  • Reporting on title and mortgage conditions
  • Exchanging contracts and progressing matters to completion
  • Ensuring transactions complete efficiently and accurately

You will also be encouraged to take an active role in business development, supporting relationships with local estate agents and contributing to marketing initiatives across the team.

On the financial side, you will be confident handling:

  • Billing and completion statements
  • Client account transactions
  • Telegraphic transfers
  • General file financial administration in line with procedures

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
  • No minimum PQE required
  • Law degree or CILEx Professional Qualification (CPQ) desirable
  • Experience in residential conveyancing (Bristol market experience advantageous)
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Confident using IT systems and case management platforms
  • Interested in business development, networking and marketing
