Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
About the Firm
Join a high-performing and collegial Commercial Litigation department that regularly works on debt claims, contract disputes, landlord and tenant matters, and wider corporate or professional negligence issues. The team is known for its hands-on partner-led structure, collaborative culture, and strong client focus
Role Overview
You will support solicitors across a mixed caseload of contentious commercial work, contributing to case management and preparing materials for hearings, mediations, and court processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of court bundles, correspondence, and litigation documents (e.g. statements of case, witness statements, schedules)
- Conduct legal research, document review and evidence collation according to Civil Procedure Rules
- Liaise with clients, counsel, expert witnesses, court officials and external parties, taking notes during meetings and hearings
- Assist with trial preparation, booking Counsel/transcribers, and coordinating disclosure or bundle production
- Support file and matter management, accurate time and billing records, and ensure compliance with departmental procedures
- Contribute to business development initiatives via research, marketing or drafting support
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in a paralegal or litigation support role preferred, ideally within a commercial or civil litigation context
- Working knowledge of CPR, file management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- A proactive team player eager to support fee earners and clients efficiently
- A strong academic background (e.g. Law degree or equivalent) is advantageous
