We are working with a well-established, two-office firm in the South West with a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal services across residential and commercial conveyancing. They are now looking to appoint a confident and proactive Legal Secretary to support their busy conveyancing team in Cheltenham.
About the Role
As a key member of the property department, you will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to fee earners handling a varied caseload of residential property matters. The role involves client liaison, audio typing, file management, and assisting with the smooth running of transactions from instruction to post-completion.
Duties Will Include:
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing contracts, completion statements, and Land Registry forms
- Opening, managing, and closing client files
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage providers
- Diary management and arranging appointments
- Handling incoming calls and post on behalf of the team
- Supporting compliance procedures and ensuring accurate documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a conveyancing/legal secretary role (essential)
