TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a highly regarded regional law firm who are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their expanding Residential Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and supportive team, providing dedicated assistance to a Conveyancer handling a broad and varied caseload.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high standard of client care and ensuring the efficient progression of conveyancing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, from initial instruction through to post-completion
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties in a professional manner
- Conducting Land Registry, SDLT, and AML checks and searches
- Preparing contract packs and supporting documentation
- Opening, maintaining, and closing files in line with compliance procedures
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Conveyancer and wider team
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within residential conveyancing is essential
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- A proactive and professional approach to work, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficient in the use of legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
