TSR Legal are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected firm who are currently seeking a Junior Solicitor 1-3 PQE to join their leading Personal Injury and Clinical negligence team in Bristol. This role has arisen due to increased workloads within the firm. To be considered for this role you MUST have some clinical negligence experience.
Duties will include:
- To work in a team on a caseload of high value clin neg (and some PI) cases, under supervision.
- Deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations.
- Works closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop client relationship skills.
- Raise personal profile and attract delegated work.
- Take responsibility for aspects of business development projects in the department.
- Research and draft articles and assist with the production of marketing materials.
- Begin to develop a network of clients, contacts, and potential referrers; attend relevant networking events.
- Manage time recording, WIP monitoring and billing consistently on files and matters.
- Contribute to fee forecasting.
- Work toward personal and team KPIs, measuring performance against these.
You will be working alongside a Partner highly ranked in the Legal 500 and will have secretarial and paralegal support daily. You will have the opportunity to manage your own files as well as contributing to the growth of the department as a whole. You will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate the ability to liaise effectively with a variety of clients.
