About the Role
TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established national law firm who are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal / Case Handler to join their specialist catastrophic injury team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside senior lawyers on high-value, complex claims involving brain injuries, spinal injuries, fatal accidents, and serious polytrauma cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Case Handlers and take ownership of delegated tasks to progress complex claims, including:
- Assisting on catastrophic injury cases from inception through to resolution
- Conducting liability investigations
- Gathering and reviewing medical evidence
- Liaising with courts, counsel, and external experts
- Arranging conferences and managing treatment/case management payments
- Maintaining high service standards and file progression
- Communicating effectively with clients, insurers, and opponents
- Attending internal meetings and contributing to case strategy
- Supporting business development and networking activities
- Supervising a junior case handling assistant
- Handling general administration and file management
Experience Required
- Proven experience managing your own litigated caseload
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident IT skills, including document production and bundle preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
