Trusts & Estates Executive


TSR Legal is working with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm to recruit a Trusts & Estates Executive to join its Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in private client, trusts, tax, accountancy or legal services who has a good understanding of UK trusts and is looking to develop their technical knowledge within a supportive and well-established team.



The Role


You will support the administration and compliance management of UK trusts, ensuring statutory obligations, HMRC reporting requirements and regulatory responsibilities are met accurately and within required deadlines.
Key responsibilities will include:



  • Supporting the administration of trusts and maintaining accurate records.

  • Monitoring trust compliance requirements and key deadlines.

  • Assisting with HMRC forms, reporting and tax-related processes.

  • Maintaining trust records and ensuring information is kept up to date.

  • Supporting trustees and senior colleagues with trust administration.

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and professional requirements.

  • Building strong relationships with clients, trustees and internal and external stakeholders.

  • Following GDPR, regulatory and firm-wide procedures.

  • Providing a high standard of client care and service.



About You


We are looking for someone with:



  • Previous experience within Private Client, Trusts, Tax, Accountancy or Legal Services.

  • A basic understanding of UK trusts and HMRC trust processes.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • The ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

  • An interest in developing their technical knowledge within trusts and estates.
