TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to strengthen its specialist New Build Conveyancing team with the appointment of an experienced Conveyancer. This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer or experienced Fee Earner with a background in New Build to join a supportive and established team, working on a quality caseload and acting for clients purchasing new homes.
You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, working closely with developers, clients, lenders and other key stakeholders to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.
The Role
- Managing a caseload of New Build residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
- Reviewing, preparing and negotiating contracts and associated documentation.
- Liaising with clients, developers, mortgage lenders and other third parties throughout the transaction.
- Carrying out searches, reviewing title and undertaking due diligence specific to New Build transactions.
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients.
- Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in line with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining accurate case management records and keeping clients updated throughout the process.
- Working as part of a specialist New Build team while contributing to the continued success of the department.
About You
- Previous experience handling New Build conveyancing matters.
- A strong understanding of residential property law and the New Build transaction process.
- Experience managing a caseload with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- A proactive and organised approach, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to build effective working relationships with developers, lenders and other stakeholders.
- Experience using conveyancing case management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Relevant professional qualifications or regulatory membership would be advantageous, although applications will be considered based on experience.
