Salary: £25,000 basic salary + OTE up to £40,000

Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

TSR Legal is currently working with a growing legal business that is looking to appoint a Business Development Executive to join one of its offices across the South West. With a presence across Cheltenham, Bath and Bristol, this is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation and play an important role in supporting its continued growth and development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated individual who enjoys speaking with people, building professional relationships and identifying new business opportunities. The role will involve a mixture of telephone-based business development, client engagement, relationship management and external networking, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and people-focused position.

The Role

Working closely with senior members of the business, you will be responsible for supporting the conversion of new enquiries and developing relationships with key professional contacts. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing new enquiries and assisting with the preparation of client quotations
  • Acting as an initial point of contact for prospective clients
  • Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
  • Following up enquiries and helping to convert opportunities into new business
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with estate agents and other professional contacts
  • Providing updates to key contacts and assisting with ongoing relationship management
  • Supporting business development initiatives and identifying new opportunities
  • Attending networking events and external meetings
  • Visiting professional contacts and potential introducers
  • Assisting with the organisation of relationship-building and networking events
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure prospective clients receive a professional and consistent service
  • Maintaining accurate records of enquiries, contacts and business development activity

About You

We are looking for a confident communicator with a proactive and commercially minded approach. Previous experience in sales, business development, estate agency, recruitment, customer service or another relationship-led environment would be beneficial. You will ideally demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence speaking with clients and professional contacts
  • The ability to build rapport quickly
  • Experience managing a high volume of telephone conversations
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • A positive, proactive approach to work

A full clean driving licence is required, as the position involves travel between offices and occasional visits to professional contacts across the region.
