Our client, a multi-service law firm with offices in South Wales and the South West, is looking to recruit a residential conveyancing Assistant to join their expanding team in Swansea. Applications are welcomed from Legal Assistants / Paralegals who have 6-12 months experience working within a conveyancing team and are able to run their own caseload. The occasional travel to the Carmarthen office may be required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Acting as first point of contact for enquiries, providing excellent customer service to new and repeat clients.
- File opening and accompanying procedures, to include production of confirmation of instruction letters, updating central records and the entering of entities and capacities on each new client/matter file.
- Providing an efficient and effective service to the Conveyancers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Demonstrates strong team building and customer service skills.
- Shows a determination to achieve set personal and team KPIs and targets.
- Commitment to working within a quality standard environment.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to become familiar with new systems quickly.
