Job Description
A Primary School based in Camden is seeking a ‘Behaviour Mentor’ to support pupils within Years 5 and 6 who display challenging behaviour. This would be on a full-time basis (8.30am-4pm) and would last for the full academic year with the potential to continue if desired. You would be offered a competitive pay rate and is suitable for candidates who do not have school-based experience, however, you must have childcare experience.
Criteria
- A minimum of 6 months experience working with challenging children (Essential)
- Degree qualified or completed relevant SEN courses
- Hard working, persistent and calming personality
- Able to provide 2 references from previous employers
- Enhanced DBS or willing to complete one asap
- Can start immediately
We would also like to hear from you if you have experience in any of the following fields; Youth work, sports coaching, army/navy cadets, community work and Pupil referral units.

This 2-form entry primary school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has a very welcoming team. The school is multi-cultural and although displays some challenging pupils in upper KS2, has good behaviour across the board. There is local public transport available and restricted parking.
