This successful company is one of the leaders within their field. They are now looking to appoint an experienced all round Digital Marketer. As the sole Marketing person for the company, this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills, put your mark on the marketing function and take ownership of the company's entire marketing development and creating/shaping their digital vision and direction.
Working closely with Senior Management, the role will initially emphasise leading their digital expansion by planning and executing all digital marketing channels and strategies. Key responsibilities include:
- Devising and implementing content building strategies (both video and written) with a focus on SEO optimisation to improve the company's search and social presence.
- Managing, optimising and building the existing Magento e-commerce platform and new channel campaigns.
- Developing, executing, optimising and reporting on an acquisition strategy and campaigns to increase traffic to the company's site and convert it into greater profitable sales.
- Recruiting new customers and managing/enhancing online reputation.
- Content Marketing - Creating written and video content to publish on the website and other digital channels to drive traffic, increase authority as experts within the field, and improve search and social presence.
- PPC - Creating effective and targeted ad campaigns to penetrate the market and improve ROI.
- Ensuring SEO best practices and effective roadmaps are adhered to; conducting keyword and competitor research to identify new opportunities; developing fresh engaging meta data strategies; devising SEO technical changes; monitoring, auditing and health checking the website; making continuous improvements to digital strategy moving forward.
- Social Media - Developing, running and increasing penetration through social media strategies to grow organic and paid social presence.
- E-commerce Management - Managing and improving the Magento platform, particularly the CMS, catalogue and blog.
- Launching and project managing website improvements and developments with 3rd party web developers to improve SEO, UX, conversion rates, and customer retention.
- Remarketing - Maximising customer value and return on investment from marketing campaigns by automation and effective targeting, retargeting and segmentation of customers for further email marketing and website promotions.
- Data - Maintaining, developing and implementing measuring, tracking and reporting tools to analyse site performance, demonstrate site success and ROI, and recognise patterns and synergies in and between campaigns.
- Managing review request campaigns and responding to customer reviews, both positive and negative.
- Engaging with 3rd party review platforms.
- Promoting/increasing digital know-how with other members of staff for the company to move forward as a whole.
Must have a Commercial Digital Marketing background with a good understanding and hands-on experience of SEO, PPC, and social media campaigns. The company website is Magento, so working knowledge of this platform and extensions is essential. Experience in using Adobe, particularly Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, as well as Canva, is required. Advanced user of Google apps, especially GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Merchant Centre, Ads, Business, and YouTube. A high level of computer literacy and knowledge, strong ability to self-manage, and knowledge of HTML and CSS code languages are also essential. Excellent presentation, communication and written skills are necessary, ideally holding a Degree in Marketing or IT degree. A driving license and transportation are required due to location.
