Role Overview: We are looking for a T1 Certified Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator to operate and evaluate autonomous vehicles in live environments. This role includes real-time monitoring of vehicle behavior, feedback reporting, and occasional manual driving. The T1 certification is a key qualification, ensuring familiarity with autonomous systems and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate autonomous vehicles on defined and exploratory routes in various traffic and weather conditions
- Monitor vehicle systems in autonomous mode; intervene manually when necessary
- Use software tools to log issues and provide detailed feedback
- Deliver ride-hailing service to the public as part of real-world AV testing
- Maintain safety protocols in accordance with T1-certified standards
- Complete detailed shift reports for engineering and operations teams
- Adapt to varying shift times, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
Required Qualifications:
- T1 Certification for Autonomous Vehicle Operations
