We provide high-quality machining, manufacturing and repair solutions to a wide range of industries including energy, power generation, water, heavy engineering, infrastructure and industrial sectors. Operating from our facility on Mill Road, Rugby, we manufacture and refurbish high-tolerance components to exacting engineering standards. Our machine shop supports both internal group requirements and external customers, delivering precision parts, complex turning projects and engineered solutions to meet demanding specifications.
The Opportunity: Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a CNC Machinist Apprentice to join our team at our Mill Road site in Rugby. This apprenticeship will provide hands-on experience within a busy and varied machine shop environment, giving you the opportunity to develop practical machining skills while working towards a recognised engineering qualification.

The role will allow you to gain experience across all aspects of the machine shop and mechanical engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability: Your Key Responsibilities & Accountability on Completion of the Apprenticeship will include:
- Working closely with the programming office
- Working proactively both independently and as part of a team
- Ensuring exceptional levels of internal customer care
- Operate and monitor CNC machines under supervision
- Load raw materials and unload finished components.
In addition to the above, you may also be taught general fabrication shop practices to broaden your engineering knowledge and skillset.
Candidate Requirements: We are looking for motivated and ambitious individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Academic Requirements: GCSEs at grades A–C (or equivalent), including Maths, English, and a Science subject.
- Passion for Engineering: A genuine interest in the engineering field, particularly in the rotating machinery and manufacturing sector.
