The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Due to an increase in workload, we are now seeking an Electro Mechanical Fitter to work in our rotating machinery business based in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities & Accountability
- Being able to inspect and disassemble rotating machines both LV & HV.
- Carry out inspections, overhauls & repairs of various motors that have been used in explosive atmospheres.
- Accurately assess and observe damage and wear on AC/DC electric motors and other machines.
- Quality control and technical compliance in accordance with project requirements.
- Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering either C&G or NVQ equivalent.
- Previous experience within an Electro-Mechanical environment.
- Experience of rotating equipment as well as root cause analyses and measuring.
- Be able to travel for short durations as and when required for specific site work and offshore scopes.
- Previous or current AEMT training course preferred but not essential.
- Current offshore licence preferable but not essential.
