We are seeking an experienced Electro‑Mechanical Fitter – Team Leader, ideally with strong rotating machines experience, to join our Workshop team at our Rugby site. This role combines hands‑on electro‑mechanical fitting with team leadership responsibilities, supporting the delivery of high‑quality repairs within agreed timescales.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, disassembling and reassembling rotating machines, including AC and DC motors and generators
- Reading and interpreting mechanical and schematic drawings
- Assessing machine condition, wear and damage and carrying out basic electrical testing
- Preparing components and assembling machines to QA standards, ready for test running
- Completing work to a high standard, achieving first‑time fix where possible
