- TS Metals is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Project Coordinator / Laser Programmer to join our management and production team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional with a laser cutting background to play a key role in delivering high-quality products and outstanding customer service.
You will be responsible for managing projects from quotation through to completion, ensuring customer requirements are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
The role also provides support to the Laser Operations Manager and contributes to the continuous improvement of processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of projects and ensure the successful delivery of parts to internal and external customers.
- Develop new and existing business opportunities, generate quotations, and follow up with customers.
- Set up and maintain contract files in accordance with TS Metals procedures.
- Interpret engineering drawings and produce laser cutting programmes.
- Create and issue work instructions to production teams.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong technical capability and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Experience programming lasers within a laser cutting environment
- A proven track record in project management
- Experience reading, interpreting, and issuing engineering drawings and work instructions
- Strong measurement and dimensional inspection skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
