JOB TITLE: Junior Software Integration Consultant

BASED AT: Hybrid working from home and TSM offices at Worship Street, London EC2

REPORTS TO: Technical Team Leader

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Software Integration Consultant to join our team and support the delivery of robust integration solutions across enterprise systems. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to build hands-on experience, as well as those with 2—3 years of experience seeking to deepen their expertise in enterprise integration.

As part of a high-impact transformation programme, you will work alongside experienced consultants and technical leads to design, implement, and support scalable integrations. You\’ll gain exposure to APIs, structured data formats (JSON, XML), and middleware platforms, contributing to seamless data exchange and business process automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between internal systems and third-party platforms using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Transform and exchange data using structured formats like JSON and XML.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information requirements and translate them into clear technical designs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of integration process and specifications, data mappings, and error handling procedures.
  • Conduct integration testing, including unit and user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Monitor and support integrations in production environments, providing first-line support and escalating issues as needed.
  • Assist with data mapping, transformation, and validation during integration and migration projects.
  • Learn and apply integration, security, and data handling best practices as part of ongoing professional development.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), data formats (JSON, XML), and integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of secure integration practices (OAuth, API keys, SAML).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical consulting environment.
  • Exposure to enterprise systems and/or processes such as ERP, finance, or procurement platforms.
  • Experience with integration tools or platforms (e.g., SSIS, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Infor OS ION).
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Previous internship or project experience in software development or IT support.
