We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join an established architectural practice based in Kent.
The successful candidate will work on a varied range of projects, taking responsibility for the technical delivery of schemes from planning through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist looking to develop their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking practice.
Key Responsibilities Producing detailed technical drawings and construction information
Developing projects from planning through to technical design and construction
Preparing specifications, schedules and supporting documentation
Producing accurate construction details and working drawings
Coordinating information with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
Ensuring designs comply with current Building Regulations and relevant standards
Attending site visits and assisting with projects through to completion
Liaising with clients and external consultants throughout the project lifecycle
About You The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working as an Architectural Technologist within a practice environment
Strong technical and construction knowledge
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Experience working on projects through technical and construction stages
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Strong communication and organisational skills
A relevant qualification in Architectural Technology
CIAT membership or working towards membership would be advantageous
