Senior Architectural Designer (Retail) in Woking

TSM Recruitment is working with an established architectural practice seeking experienced professionals to join its team in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in retail design and fit-out projects to join a collaborative practice delivering projects for major, blue-chip clients. The practice works across a varied portfolio, ranging from smaller refurbishment schemes to large-scale retail fit-outs, with opportunities to take responsibility for project delivery, technical coordination and elements of project management. Applications are welcomed from Architects, Interior Architects, Architectural Technologists, Project Managers and Architectural Coordinators with relevant retail-sector experience, typically five years or more. The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering retail projects across various stages, ensuring that design information, technical requirements and project deadlines are managed effectively. You will take ownership of your workload, work closely with project teams and consultants, and act as Lead Designer where required. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects for well-established clients within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. What We're Looking For
Proven experience delivering retail design and fit-out projects.
Strong knowledge of current UK Building Regulations.
Experience managing projects as Lead Designer.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word and Excel, with Revit experience desirable but not essential.
Excellent organisation, communication and coordination skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
A commercially aware, proactive approach to project delivery.
