TSM Technical is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering business for a Field Service Engineer to join their nationwide team. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically competent engineer looking for a varied field-based role. Full product training will be provided, so applicants from a range of installation, service and maintenance backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and fault finding of specialist electronic monitoring systems across customer sites throughout the UK. The role is predominantly field-based and will involve occasional overnight stays when required. There is no on-call rota, allowing for a great work-life balance.

  • Electrical Installation
  • Field Service
  • Data & Structured Cabling
  • Access Control / CCTV / Security Systems
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Controls & Instrumentation
  • Network Installation
  • Electronic Systems Installation
  • Any other electrically biased installation or service role

To be successful you'll ideally have:

  • Good electrical installation and fault-finding skills
  • A customer-focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The willingness to travel throughout the UK
  • The ability to obtain security clearance due to the nature of the sites you'll be working on
