The Role:

An experienced Automatic Door Engineer is required to join the engineering team covering London and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will carry out the service, maintenance, fault finding, repair and installation of a wide range of automatic doors, while also supporting work on roller shutters, gates and barriers when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain and repair automatic doors, including sliding, swing, revolving and folding doors.
  • Install and commission automatic door systems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
  • Work on roller shutters, gates and barriers when required.
  • Complete service reports and compliance paperwork accurately.
  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused service.
  • Participate in the company's on-call service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Automatic Door Engineer.
  • Experience servicing, maintaining and installing automatic doors.
  • Experience with roller shutters, gates and barriers would be advantageous.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
