Depot Based Powered Access Engineer in Leicestershire.

£30,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Training + Progression

Permanent | Full Time | Monday - Friday (42.5 hours)

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing powered access business with a modern fleet and strong presence across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a busy depot environment maintaining and preparing powered access equipment to a high standard.

The Role:

  • Responsible for servicing, inspecting and repairing a range of powered access equipment and telehandlers from the depot.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
  • Servicing, maintenance and repairs across the fleet
  • Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
  • Completing service documentation and digital records accurately
  • Managing workload effectively and maintaining workshop standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous engineering experience within powered access, plant, forklift or related equipment sectors
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
  • CAP certification is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage
  • IPAF 3a/3b preferred
  • LOLER knowledge and inspection experience desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently

What's on Offer:

  • £30,000 - £40,000 basic salary depending on experience
  • Weekday overtime paid at 1.3x hourly rate
  • Weekend overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate (minimum 5 hours paid)
  • 33 days holiday
