TSM Technical are currently recruiting a Lead Automatic Door Engineer on behalf of a leading Entrance Systems company. The role covers the South West region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a growing team and work on a mix of installation, service, and maintenance projects.

Working Hours & Call-Outs

  • 42.5 hours per week
  • Premium overtime rates - 1.5x & 2x
  • Call-out: 1 in 67 weeks, £80 rest payment if called after midnight

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support on-the-job training for new engineers during onboarding
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers on fault diagnosis, repairs, and installations
  • Undertake and take lead on complex or high-value installations and challenging service tasks
  • Service, maintain, and repair automatic doors: Swing, Sliding, Revolving & Disabled Access
  • Ensure safe working practices in line with EN16005 and company standards
  • Liaise with clients, management, and stakeholders to meet requirements
  • Participate in the on-call rota, overtime, and weekend work as needed
  • Keep accurate paperwork and maintain van stock to company standards
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at all times

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in the automatic door industry
  • EN16005 compliant
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
