We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding automatic door specialist for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business during an exciting period of growth, offering strong earning potential, varied project work, and clear long-term progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of automatic door systems
  • Installation work (approx. 30%) alongside service and reactive maintenance (approx. 70%)
  • Working with a range of manufacturers, with a strong focus on Record products
  • Delivering work across a variety of environments including schools, colleges, hospitals, and hospitality settings
  • Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and compliance standards

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Paid 1-hour lunch break included
  • Overtime & On-Call: 1 in 6 on-call rota
  • £75 weekly standby fee
  • £50 per call-out
  • Enhanced overtime rates:
    • 1.5x: 6:00am - 8:00am and 5:00pm - 12:00am
    • 2x: 12:00am - 6:00am
  • Overtime available if desired

Additional Requirements

  • Occasional night work (approx. 2 nights per month)
  • Overnight allowance provided
  • Dinner and breakfast covered
  • DBS check required due to working within schools and healthcare environments
  • ADSA qualification required
  • Full UK driving licence essential
