Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Up to £19.50 per hour + Overtime + On-Call + Quarterly Bonus

Salary & Benefits:

About the Company:

TSM Technical are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist within the entrance systems industry. Our client delivers the installation, service and maintenance of automatic doors, industrial doors, roller shutters, gates and barriers across commercial, industrial and public sector sites. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Multi-Skilled Door Engineer to join their expanding engineering team covering London and the surrounding areas.

The Role:

This is a field-based role responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, repair and occasional installation of a wide range of entrance systems. We're looking for an engineer with strong experience in Automatic Doors, along with experience in either Industrial Doors & Roller Shutters or Gates & Barriers. Working independently, you'll ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, repair and install automatic door systems
  • Carry out service and repair work on either industrial doors & roller shutters or gates & barriers
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Attend reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs
  • Complete electronic job sheets and service documentation
  • Deliver a professional and customer-focused service
  • Participate in the on-call rota
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience within the entrance systems industry
  • Strong experience servicing and repairing Automatic Doors
  • Additional experience in either Industrial Doors & Roller Shutters or Gates & Barriers
  • Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Experience carrying out service, maintenance and repair work
  • Professional, customer-focused approach
  • ADSA, EN16005, DHF or other relevant industry qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
