We’re working with a rapidly growing, close-knit business within the automatic and industrial door industry. Due to continued success and increased workload, they’re looking to recruit an Automatic Door Engineer to join their friendly team, covering the Midlands and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair automatic doors (majority of the role)
- Carry out occasional installations
- Work with commercial and retail clients across the Midlands
- Jobs are typically kept within approximately two hours of your home postcode
- Ensure all work is completed in line with EN16005 compliance standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
- EN16005 compliant (essential)
- Experience working with automatic doors
- Knowledge of industrial doors, gates, or barriers is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Engineers with less experience will be considered if they have the right mindset
- Up to £49,600 basic salary
- Door-to-door pay
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates: Time and a half (05:00-07:30 / 17:30-00:00) Double time thereafter
- On-call rota: 1 in 6, £175 standby fee, call-outs paid at 1.5x
- Company van available for personal use
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- Death in service plan
