The role
We are looking for a proactive Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of fast-paced construction projects. You will manage multiple packages of work, with experience across industrial, manufacturing, and data-centre environments particularly valued.
This is an autonomous role for someone who can take ownership of their work, maintain commercial visibility across several live projects, and communicate clearly through accurate tracking and reporting.

Key responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction work packages, including packages valued up to £5 million and above
- Support projects from pre-construction through final account, maintaining cost control and commercial governance throughout.
- Prepare, track, and report budgets, forecasts, valuations, variations, and payment applications.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, enquiries, tender comparisons, contract administration, and payments.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities, escalating issues with clear supporting information.
- Maintain accurate project records and reporting within COINS.
- Work closely with project managers, site teams, clients, and subcontractors to support fast-track delivery.
- Balance competing priorities across several projects while meeting tight reporting and commercial deadlines.
About you
You are a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with experience running your own packages or projects in a busy construction environment. You are organised, confident working independently, and able to adapt as project priorities change.
Essential experience and skills
- Quantity Surveying experience within industrial, manufacturing, datacentre, or similarly complex construction projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or work packages.
- Strong cost tracking, forecasting, valuation, variation, and reporting capability.
- Experience using COINS.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-track project environments.
- Commercial awareness, attention to detail, and confident stakeholder communication.
- Flexible, self-directed approach with the ability to take ownership of work.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
