This is a full-time on-site role for a Sustainability Lead located in Leeds. The Sustainability Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives, conducting sustainability assessments, managing sustainability projects, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The role also involves collaborating with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of the company's operations and reporting on sustainability performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives for construction activities
  • Relevant building certifications / licenses i.e. BREEAM or ISO14001
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance
  • Project management skills and ability to manage sustainability projects
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
