About BuildForward

BuildForward is TSL’s international early careers development programme designed to support graduates as they transition from education into long-term careers within construction, engineering and business operations environments. Graduates join TSL in full-time entry-level or junior roles and gain structured exposure, mentoring, development support and hands-on experience across live projects and business functions.

Role Overview

As a BuildForward Graduate, you will become part of a dynamic international team and gain exposure to real projects, operational environments and experienced professionals across the business. For the September 2026 UK intake, the initial graduate opportunities are expected to focus primarily on the following areas:

  • Design / BIM / Digital Construction
  • Construction / Project Delivery
  • Engineering
  • Pre-Construction / Estimating
  • SmartParc and related project environments

Depending on project pipeline, business needs and individual capability, graduates may also gain exposure to wider functions and multidisciplinary collaboration across the business. The programme is designed for ambitious graduates who are eager to develop practical experience, contribute to real business outcomes and build long-term careers within a fast-paced project environment. The first 12 months form the structured Foundation Year, focused on building technical capability, professional confidence, business understanding and practical project exposure.

What You Will Be Doing

During the programme, you will:

  • Support live projects and operational teams
  • Participate in coordination meetings and project activities
  • Assist with technical, commercial or operational tasks
  • Work with experienced professionals across different disciplines
  • Contribute to reporting, planning and project delivery activities
  • Gain exposure to project lifecycle processes
  • Participate in structured learning and development activities
  • Build practical experience within international project environments

What We Are Looking For

For the September 2026 UK intake, we are particularly interested in graduates with educational backgrounds aligned to the following areas:

  • Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Construction Management / Project Delivery
  • Design / BIM / Digital Construction
  • Pre-Construction / Estimating
  • Architecture and Built Environment disciplines
  • Building Services Engineering

Candidates with qualifications aligned to construction, engineering, project delivery, industrial, manufacturing, logistics or similar operational environments are also encouraged to apply.
