The role and the work
What you’ll do:
- Lead the design and delivery of graphic design projects across marketing, bids, sales and brand initiatives with minimal oversight from the Graphics & Brand Lead.
- Produce high quality design work across digital and print formats, including pitch documentation, tender responses, video assets, presentations, marketing collateral and brand material.
- Develop innovative layouts and visual concepts that push creative boundaries while adhering to TSK and client brand guidelines.
- Use advanced design platforms (e.g. Adobe CC, Vev, Webflow) to build engaging, modern digital experiences.
- Advise internal stakeholders on the most effective creative approach to meet their objectives – suggesting alternative or improved solutions where appropriate.
- Confidently challenge unclear briefs, unrealistic timelines or low-impact creative requests, offering better pathways forward.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, owning timelines, prioritisation and delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency of design across all communication channels and outputs.
- Translate complex ideas, processes and data into simple, visually compelling graphics, infographics and presentations.
- Stay up to date with emerging design tools, techniques and industry trends, proactively enhancing the team’s capabilities.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Advanced technical design ability, including expert Adobe Creative Suite skills and strong capability with digital design tools such as Vev and Webflow CMS.
- Ability to independently lead design projects from brief to delivery with minimal supervision.
- Excellent stakeholder management - confident giving guidance, pushing back appropriately, and shaping briefs to achieve better creative outcomes.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, balancing multiple deadlines and prioritising effectively.
- A distinct creative voice and the ability to contribute original ideas, challenge assumptions and propose more innovative approaches.
- Proven experience interpreting and applying strict brand guidelines with high levels of consistency and precision.
- High attention to detail, especially in final output preparation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design rationale clearly.
- Strong understanding of digital and print production standards.
- A proactive mindset with a desire to continually improve processes, outputs and creative excellence.
The ideal candidate:
- 4+ years’ experience in a graphic design role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work across both print and digital formats.
- Experience working within the design and build or construction industry, with an understanding of how design supports the sales and bid process.
- Web design experience or familiarity with no-code/low-code content platforms such as Vev or Readymag.
